COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD)

  In this blog, I will be recording my process in refreshing my CAD skills by using the Fusion360 software to make a keychain. SKETCH: This sketch shows the base of the keychain with the border. This sketch shows the base of the keychain including the text. FINISHED SKETCH: This is the top view of the finished sketch of the keychain where the border and the text are extruded. REFLECTION: I enjoy using fusion 360 to make different ideas appear in a 3 dimensional model. Making the keychain refreshes my mind on the different tools such as extruding and changing of text. INTRODUCTION✋ I am Jolyn from DCHE/FT/2B/02, I am part of group Kalyani and Friends. On this page I am going to highlight my personal goals for this module that I wish to achieve by then end of the semester. Describe on what i want to improve on and what are the strategies I will use to do so. PERSONAL GOALS:💫 I would like to improve on my CAD skills on Fusion360, such as being able to create basic 3D shapes/models without the use of a tutorial. I want to come up with an exceptional prototype for this module and aim for a high grade with my teammates. STRATEGIES:✍ To improve on my CAD skills, I should be self-directed to search up for different tutorials on using different techniques to make different shapes and models. By using following those tutorials to practice on making the shapes and models on the Fusion360 in my own time.
